In the mood for an educational Saturday filled with good food and great company? “Leave the house and join the Friends of Sessions Woods for a “Cabin Fever Pot Luck,” beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the large meeting room in the Conservation Education Center. Then learn about bald eagles with Expert Brian Hess of the CT DEEP Wildlife Division. Brian will talk about eagles that winter and nest in Connecticut. He also will provide insight on the history of eagles in Connecticut; how to identify juvenile and adult eagles; and additional fun facts! A special treat following the presentation, will include a visit by Horizon Wings, Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center, and their live bald and golden eagles!
