Join the CT Audubon Society in Glastonbury CT this Halloween for a fun Owl-O-Ween gala full of mad science, live owls, snakes and bugs! There will be a walk in the woods or graveyard, sticky things to touch, crafts, caramel apples and more – it will be a real old-fashioned Halloween party. What “critters” will appear on the trails at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton, CT at this year’s Halloween Hobgoblin Fair? Join us for a ‘Track & Treat’ walk, children’s crafts, cupcake decorating, face painting, a Country Kitchen of yummy homemade items, and a delicious lunch of homemade soup, bread and apple cider. This program is suitable for children ages 3-8. Children are encouraged to wear costumes IF suitable for walking in the woods and participating in the craft activities, and must be accompanied by a parent. Cost: $8 children; $4 adults. Fee includes the ‘Track & Treat’ walk, all crafts, and face painting. Other activities available for an additional charge. Please note that there are no refunds, and that participants should attend the session for which they register; pre-registration with payment and this form is required.
